High Rate Rake Thickeners/Concentrators
Filtaquip Conventional High Rake Thickeners/concentrators, ideal for large water flows, have a limited height and a large surface area. Equipped with a peripheral scraper bridge system, known as the rakes, scraping the thickened pulp to the centre underflow point at the underflow cone.
Filtaquip offers bolted, as well as welded thickeners. Bolted thickeners resulting in less time spent on site.
HIGH RATE TECHNOLOGY
Our specialised feedwell design allows for improved sediment discharge directed at the thickener apex, thus decreasing short circuiting and competing of solids particles with each other, leading to a faster settling rate of the material.
