Vertical Paste Thickeners

The vertical Paste Thickener is based on the principle of static decantation and the natural settling of suspended solid particles. During settling the solid particles settle down to the bottom of the structure, while the clarified water overflows into the overflow weir at the top. Underflow density is increased by the addition of flocculant.
